MATTER, a Chicago-based health technology incubator, recently added 10 new startups, bringing the total number of members of the incubator to 40 companies. This recently launched incubator focuses on incubating medical technology innovators. The incubator is located in Chicago, USA, and provides start-ups with entrepreneurial mentoring, more communication and work, and workplace conditions.
The incubator was originally built with $2.5 million in donations and $1.5 million in loans from Illinois, and recently received $4.4 million in investments from 22 local healthcare and technology companies. MATTER plans to add more startup members to build a complete application development foundation.

Drected: A medical information exchange platform through which communication and contact between medical professionals and clinicians can be strengthened, as well as the management of government departments.
HealthEngine: A medical tool platform that provides patients with the help they need to find the right doctor and compare prices and treatments to different doctors and hospitals.
Inhibitor Pharmaceuticals: A biotechnology company that is in the development stage.
LaunchPad Lab: A software designed to accelerate cancer research has been developed to make it easier for researchers to better manage and analyze cancer research data.
