Especially for the color pepper, fruit shape and coloring are directly related to the price and the income, which is very important. Therefore, the pruning of sweet peppers first depends on the planting density, and cannot be applied to other people's experience. The growth space of sweet pepper on the land per mu is certain, and the number of shoots suitable for growing is also certain. The practice of planting shows that the number of main branches of sweet pepper per mu is kept between 5000-7000. In other words, when the planting density is 2000 plants, it is appropriate to leave 3-4 main branches per plant; when planting 1200 plantings per acre, two strong branches are left on the basis of leaving 4 main branches per plant.
