We are always seeing hundreds of names of tea in the tea shop, dazzling. In fact, the name diversification is deliberately caused by the production of tea farms and various tea producers. Some are named according to the shape of the tea, such as bead tea, silver needle, etc.; some are named after the famous mountains and rivers of origin, such as West Lake Longjing, Putuo Buddha tea, etc.; Some are named according to legends and historical stories, such as Da Hong Pao, Tie Guan Yin, and so on.

According to the color of tea

Although there is no uniform method for the classification of Chinese tea, the more scientific classification is based on differences in manufacturing methods and quality, especially according to the degree of oxidative polymerization of various tea-produced tea polyphenols. All kinds of tea are grouped into six categories: green tea and yellow tea; white tea, green tea, black tea and black tea. Green tea polyphenols are the lightest, and black tea is the most oxidized. These six teas are called basic teas.
